It is the first time for the 6 delegates to visit China. And what they seen and heard were amazing to them. When visiting the Guangming village in Wangcheng County, all delegated looked very excited. Located in the west with about 60 kilometers to Changsha city, Guangming village is a rather big mountain village with convenient transportation facilities and geographic advantages. There are more than 900 households with a population of 3,500 and a total area of 7.5 square kilometers. It became the Pilot Village in the Construction of New Socialist Rural Area in Hunan Province in 2008. With enterprises and factories, schools, hotels, restaurants, home of respect for the aged being situated on a beautiful landscape of lakes and mountains with many tourists, this village is a green, environment friendly, tourists-attracted holiday resort in Hunan Province. The delegation listened carefully about the hard works and unremitting efforts made by the villagers who were led by the Party Branch to build their homeland into such a wonderful place. They also took group photos with local students in primary school who were just doing outdoor exercise. The delegates also visited Asian largest butterfly breeding and research center, and walked into local resident’s house and tasted local green food.
All delegates stated that although it was a short-time visit with tight schedule, they were deeply impressed by Chinese enterprises, factories, rural areas and transportation facilities which displayed the prosperity of social life and economic development as well as the happiness and high spirit of the Chinese people. These were quite different from the slanted reports by some western media. Mr. Janusz Cieslak, President of the European Business Club expressed that facts have shown that over 30 years of reform and opening-up is a correct road for China, and the overall deepening of reform and the rule of law decided in the 3rd and 4th Plenums of the 18th CPC Central Committee will not only bring benefits to the Chinese people but also have influence on the order of global politics and economy. Mr. Tadeusz stressed that Poland is sincerely hoping that China can make greater success, and Poland can enjoy the driving force of One Belt And One Road advocated by President Xi Jinping, get on China’s high-speed train of development to help its growth, and take new steps to promote China-Poland and China-Europe relations.
