On December 20, Wang Yajun, CAFIU Advisor and Assistant Minister of the International Department Central Committee of CPC (IDCPC) met with a delegation of Japan’s Liberal Democratic Party headed by Taira Masaaki, member of the House of Representatives.

 

Wang expressed his wishes that China and Japan should join hands in managing old issues and preventing new problems, and improve the two peoples’ attitudes towards each other so as to create a favorable atmosphere for deepening exchanges and cooperation between the two nations. 

 

Masaaki said that he stands ready to help maintain long-term stable exchanges with China and encourage young LDP congressmen to be more positively involved in exchanges with China.
