On the afternoon of December 11, Secretary-General Ni Jian met with Kunio Takami, Director of Green Earth Network. Mr. Takami briefed Mr. Ni on the progress of the afforestation cooperation project carried out in Datong, Shanxi by his organization. Mr. Ni spoke positively of Mr. Takami’s unrelenting efforts of planting tress in China over the years. The two sides exchanged views on the current people-to-people exchanges between China and Japan.
