At the invitation of CAFIU, a 6-member Australian and New Zealand Rotary delegation visited China from October 23 to 27, 2016.

 

In Beijing, CAFIU Deputy Secretary-General Liu Kaiyang met with the delegation. The delegation attended the workshop held by CAFIU and gave presentations on the Rotary International and its experience in carrying out international cooperation. The delegation also had discussions with people in charge of the Education Commission and Foreign Affairs Office of Miyun District on China-New Zealand teachers’ exchange program and visited the National Museum of China, Beijing Sanyuan Foods Co.,Ltd., Dongsi Olympic Community Sports Culture Center, Miyun No. 2 Primary School and Miyun High School Affiliated to Capital Normal University.

 

Apartfrom Beijing, the delegation also went to Xingtang County in Hebei Province to explore poverty reduction projects. Deputy Secretary-General Liu Kaiyang accompanied the delegation to Xingtang.
