On October 31, Secretary-General Ni Jian attended the opening ceremony and reception of “Peace is a Blessing” Art Exhibition jointly held by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, China-Japan Friendship Association and Japan Commission of Association for Promoting Japan-China Cultural Exchanges.
This exhibition aims at commemorating the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Second World War, facilitating the cultural and art exchanges between China and Japan, and promoting the friendship between the two peoples.
The art exhibition was attended by the delegation headed by Toshihiro Nikai, Director of the General Affairs Bureau of Liberal Democratic Party, Kitera Masato, Japanese Ambassador to China, and over 100 Chinese and Japanese delegates from all walks of life in Beijing. Mr. Ni Jian exchanged ideas with Toshihiro Nikai and Ambassador Masato.
