On October 29, IDCPC Vice-Minister and CAFIU Counselor Liu Hongcai met Keiji Sato, President of Karuizawa Japan-China Exchange Association in Nagano Prefecture, and his wife. The two guests were visiting China at the invitation of CAFIU.

    Liu Hongcai spoke positively of Mr. Sato’s long-time dedication to friendship between Chinese and Japanese people as well as study on Marxism and socialist theory. Liu also said that the two countries should enhance people-to-people exchanges and strengthen mutual understanding between the younger generations.

    Keiji Sato said he stands ready to promote people-to-people exchanges between the two countries, contributing to the sound and stable development of Japan-China relations.

CAFIU Secretary-General Ni Jian and Deputy Secretary-General Liu Kaiyang were present at the meeting.
