On the afternoon of August 29, CAFIU Vice-President Ai Ping met with Mr. David Evans, Charge d'Affaires ad Interim of New Zealand, and Mr. Justin Hayhurst, Deputy Head of Australian Embassy in China, as well as their colleagues, exchanging views on China-New Zealand relations, China-Australia relations, and people-to-people exchanges. Secretary-General Ni Jian and Deputy Secretary-General Liu Kaiyang were present at the meeting.
