On the morning of July 14, CAFIU held a seminar in Beijing on promoting people-to-people bond of the countries along the One Belt and One Road. In the seminar, Chinese and foreign delegates shared their respective national development strategies and had in-depth exchanges of views on how to align these strategies through strengthening people-to-people exchanges. The seminar was attended by over 30 delegates, including all the members of the Neighboring Countries Delegation, scholars from China Institute of Contemporary International Relations, Asia-Africa Development & Exchange Society of China, the Charhar Institute, Beijing Normal University and China Foreign Affairs University. CAFIU Secretary-General Ni Jian delivered closing remarks and Deputy Secretary-General Liu Kaiyang chaired the seminar.
