At the invitation of CAFIU, a 15-member Sri Lankan NGO Delegation composed of representatives from friendly organizations visited China from April 20 to 29. CAFIU Secretary-General Ni Jian and Deputy Secretary-General Liu Kaiyang had discussions with the delegation respectively. Experts from Chinese Academy of Governance and China Institute of Contemporary International Relations exchanged views with the delegation on Rule of Law and “One Road, One Belt” Initiative. The delegation also called on World Tourism Cities Federation in Beijing. Secretary-General Ni Jian travelled with the delegation in Shaanxi and Yunnan. In Shaanxi, the delegation visited Buddhist temple and came to know the Buddhist culture development in Shaanxi province and visited Huannan Road Community in Xi’an. During its stay in Yunnan, the delegation called on Yunnan Provincial Department of Commerce and Yunnan Development and Reform Commission. The visit deepens the delegation’s understanding on “One Road, One Belt” Initiative and China’s economic and social development.
