At the invitation of the CAFIU, a 18-member delegation consist of NGO, think tank and media representatives from Poland, Albania, Croatia, Slovakia and Slovenia visited Beijing and Jiangxi from March 19 to 28.
In Beijing, Vice-president Ai Ping met the delegation. Secretary-General Ni Jian had a discussion with Polish delegates. Scholars gave presentations on the “Belt and Road” Initiative, “16+1 cooperation” and current economic situation of China. A seminar was held to exchange views on the development and involvement in international events by the NGOs in the five countries. The delegation visited China-Europe Relations Research Center of Tsinghua University, Beigou Village, Bohai Township, Huairou District, Beijing and CRBC. In Jiangxi, Deputy Director-General introduced the basic information of Jiangxi and had in-depth exchange of views with the delegation. The delegation also visited JMC Company, China-Georgia Culture and Wine House, Tao Xichuan Cultural Creative Park, and Ancient Kilm Museum to know more about local economic, social and cultural development and the “Belt and Road” Initiative.
