On March 16, Chinese Association for International Understanding (CAFIU) and Organization for South Asian Regional Friendship and Cooperation with China (OSARFCC) held a webinar to exchange ideas on issues including strengthening people-to-people exchanges between China and South Asian countries and promoting exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations. CAFIU Deputy Secretary-General Liu Lujun presided over the webinar.

The webinar was attended by Mr. Anoop Ranjan Bhattarai, President of OSARFCC, and representatives of OSARFCC member organizations, including All Pakistan China Friendship Association, China Maldivian Cultural Association, Bangladeshi China Cultural Economic and Mass Communication Center, Nepal China Executive Council, Association for Sri Lanka-China Social & Cultural Cooperation, and India China Friendship Association, who made speeches. Representatives at the webinar highly appreciated China’s whole-process people’s democracy and agreed that exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations provide an important driving force for human progress and world peace and development.
