CAFIU convened the General Assembly and the Second Meeting of the Twelfth Council from Dec. 31, 2020 to Jan. 11, 2021 on line. Altogether 90 delegates including 55 council members attended the meeting.

According to the opinions of the members of the Council and after the approval of the General Assembly, the meeting decided to revise the Constitution of the Chinese Association for International Understanding according to the requirements of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China. The revised constitution will be submitted to the Ministry of Civil Affairs as required, and will be implemented upon approval.

The meeting summarized the major work of CAFIU in 2020, and the Council members put forward opinions and suggestions for work in 2021.
