On October 2, 2020, CAFIU held the Sino-Japanese Mid-Autumn Festival On-line Dialogue entitled “Separated by Mountains and Sea, Yet Sharing the Same Moonlight under the Same Sky”. The two sides exchanged views on how to promote people-to-people exchanges and cooperation between China and Japan under the current situation. Mr. Liu Hongcai, former Vice Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee and Vice President of CAFIU presided over the meeting. Mr. Li Mingxing, President of Beijing Research Center for International Economics, Mr. Wang Zhongyi, Editor-in-chief of People’s China Magazine, Mr. Banli Kaieda, President of the Japan-China Association for the 21st Century and standing adviser of the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan attended the meeting.
